Our agency specializes in custom tours and pilgrimages to the holy pilgrim sites and places of interest of the Early Church and Eastern Christendom. Our tour themes include Sacred Art, Christian Monasticism and uniquely tailored tours that combine elements of pilgrimage to the most revered sites of the Christendom with interesting educational historical excursions. The director and spiritual advisor of the company is a Russian Orthodox priest. We therefore proudly offer numerous unique tours of Russia. Each of these Russian tours deal with different aspects of Russian church and state history, and national and regional culture. All of our tours are designed individually in order to accommodate people in the best way possible and to provide the most comprehensive insight into the tour theme. We offer a number of pre-packaged tours every year, but we also welcome parish, group and individual requests for organizing custom made tours. While we are an Orthodox Christian company, we are glad to work with anyone who has a serious interest in the themes that we offer and who would be interested in our professional services, offered in the spirit of Christian love, honesty and cordiality. |

"In the Footsteps of the Forgotten English saints"May 1 - 11, 2012“In the Footsteps of the Forgotten Saints” is a religious and historical pilgrimage to the holy places associated with the early saints of the ancient Anglo-Saxon Church. The tour offers a rare glimpse into the often misunderstood and marginalized history of the unique development of Christianity on the British Isles. We will explore this spiritual tradition, which predates the powerful forces of religious politics and invading armies that distanced the ancient British Church from her Orthodox beginnings. Though very little remains from the period before the Norman Conquest of Britain in the eleventh century, we will bring back the lives of forgotten saints through services, tales and visits to surviving monuments of England’s Orthodox past. Guest lecturer for our pilgrimage is Dr. Paul Cavill, professor of Old English Literature at the University at Nottingham and author of several books on Anglo-Saxon Christianity. |

Our trip is intended as an in-depth introduction to the history of Byzantine Sacred Art on the two Mediterranean Islands of Cyprus and Crete. The relative remoteness of certain parts of the island saved some of the monuments and they are in very good shape, despite a turbulent history that permeated that part of the world for centuries. We will see some of the earliest examples of the Byzantine basilicas on the islands; however, our main focus will be on the 12th to 15th century monuments, representative of the Golden age of Byzantine Sacred Art. In order to show historic continuity and give an overall presentation of the diverse history and culture of the islands, we will visit some of the famous archeological sites and museums. The locations of most of the hotels will be in close proximity to the city centers, so that in their leisure time, participants will be able to explore the Venetian harbors of the cities and some of the delicious local cuisine abundantly available at the countless local restaurants.
